  2. Lol, ours too after this weekend. The screens there were awesome, but the bite was super sporadic for us The Fishin’ Physician Assistant
  3. We went out yesterday and today. Yesterday we covered fro 12 ft to 120 ft. We took one small brown in 60ft, a king at 80 and a steelie at 120. Today was a tougher bite. Setup between 80 120 and took one laker at 110 dragging bottom. I felt accomplished after talking to other guys that hadn’t moved a rod.
  4. Went 14 for 14 (ten Kings, two Browns, one Coho, and one Atlantic). Kept a Brown, the Coho, and a couple of Kings. Setup at 6:45 and nothing but marks in the first hour. Then we started picking away at them. The majority came on the riggers down 20 to 35 over 50 fow. The Browns were higher on the divers. Speed at the ball was 2.3 to 2.4. All but one came on spoons (UV green, black, and silver and UV blue, black, and silver). A great day!

  10. Glad you sold it quickly. If it had been an outboard, I would have bought it much sooner. Nice boat!
  11. Made more progress today. I got the floor riveted in and a coat of epoxy on top. I baught an air riveter from harbor freight. Very happy with it, and was happy to not hand pull all of the rivets to put the floor in. The vinyl came in and looks really nice. I went with nautolex storm gray color. It looks like it should hold up well.
  12. Sounds very familiar! Congrats on the loc fish! The Fishin’ Physician Assistant
  13. Just came back from a 4 day Wilson trip. I would say you had a awesome trip, compared to ours. My son and friend landed 2 small kings, fished the same waters except far east of plant. Lost 3 fish after 5 seconds.we fished sun up to dinner everyday. Changed speed, lures, depth we were doing everything. So 4 days 2 fish. I would take a 50 percent catch rate anyday. Congrats on a very good trip.
  14. Excellent post, full of honest, specific stuff. Great job out there. I've had the same screens and frustrations- you are not alone and you guys had a good go!
  15. Trailered the boat from Pittsburgh to Wilson on thursday to get in on some LOC King action. I had only fished the bar one day a few years ago, so we were going in pretty blind. Thurs afternoon launched out of the Fort and fished the bar from 3pm to dark. Had spoons, FF, and meat all through the column in 60-180 fow, and couldnt move a rod. Friday, after some intel we got Thurs night, launched from Olcott in the dark at 5 am, went east to the power plant, and went 10-13 on kings in 60-120 fow. All spoons. 150 copper, ten color, riggers, and divers all went. Sat, launched even earlier at 430, headed east again. Moved a rod or two on small kings early, but marks were gone from the day before. Saw a lotta big charters and tourney boats heading further east, so we made the move. Wayy slow again, only picked up 7 king bites between 730 am and 5 pm, but they were all good ones. All spoons, all but one on riggers. Ended up with one 19 lb 10 oz and one 20 lb 12 oz, which got us at #15 on the board. Overall, great trip. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
