    In my opinion - The backing isnt necessary for wire, but you WILL need the larger 47 series reel to house the 30 # S.S. wire. There simply isnt enough capacity on those 27s. Good luck!

    This boat is has been Very well taken care of guys! I have seen it and fished out of it myself! If you are considering a used boat dont hesitate and go check it out!

    Can anybody recommend a reliable reputable Mercury Outboard mechanic? I am looking to get my 9.9 4 stroke kickers carb rebuilt, and the engine tuned up to get her running smooth for brownie season a few weeks away! The nearest one to me is Bryce -- and to put it "nicely" I would rather not deal with them Thanks in advance

    This has been topic hit a few times now, the best place to pick up the big jon otter boats is off big jons website. The blemish boats are at a discounted price and are 100 % brand new just may have a color difference or a finish difference. Splitshot posted the link--- 75 bucks a piece just have to call and make sure they have them.
