  1. No you won't DOC, I'll be there, and if I'm not out there Farley in the P%^*# Pro will be out there
  2. Richard, isn't that where you got your replacements?
  3. I know this has been discussed before, but can't find it. Where is the best place to get new power cables for my Cannon Mag 10s? One is cracked, and I am sure the other is right behind it. This would be the cable that is attached to the rigger. Thanks
  4. Got 2 Daiwa Heartlands, NO twili tips, this is season 3, the guides are still in good shape. These have lasted way longer than the original roller eagle claw rods I had before that these Heartlands replaced.
  5. John, is the noise still there when you advance the throttle under load, past 1000 RPMs? If so, it is most likely the exhause flappers.
  6. Generally speaking, GPS speed will be faster than downspeed. Usually by abour .5 - 1.5 mph depending on conditions, this is my experience with GPS and Subtroll.
  7. J, did you buy the sounder module for the A65?
  8. How old is your fuel? Could be as simple as bad / stale / water saturated gas.
  9. Doin good, boat is almost ready for the year, can't wait, hope to splash next weekend.
  10. Hit Olcott again this morning, water was very cold, the channel between the breakwalls was totally froze up with 1/4" - 1/2" of skim ice, there was lots of the same ice out in the lake, temps ranged from 31 - 33 degrees. I couldn't find any warm water. However, I found out that big boards really don't like ice Managed one brown to salvage the trip Hope it warms up soon
  11. Don't forget the power steering cooler on the very bottom of the motor. That would be on the right hand side when looking at the motor, that is the lowest point. It has a hose running to it, just disconnect, drain and then re connect.
  12. Great name and origin Storm Name: Adam Gierach Boat: Diversion II Origin: My boat is my escape from the everyday grind of reality Make: 245 PennYan Contender Port: Fort Niagara - Olcott Years on LO: since 1993
  13. Not sure on how much, but consider paying for what it takes to do it correctly, as it would be real bad to have to redo or do additional work down the road. If the stringers are bad, there is likely to be additional parts that need replacing. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I spent nearly 7K to redo my stringers, transom, bulkhead, motor bunks, coupler etc., the whole works. That money spent was painful, but it is a real piece of mind and now my boat is totally solid and basically brand new.
  14. Church boards, run them just as the come out of the package, no mods required, they run great
  15. The Upper Niagara River was packed with ice this morning, probably from being blown over the boom.
  16. Great, how am I supposed to work all day today, and then tomorrow when information like this is out??? I hate busy season
  17. Love my hardtop, I can open my front windows at the bottom when it is hot to get that "wind in my hair". After owning a hardtop, I can't imagine going back to a soft top.
