  1. Capt Carl, On your Carbon 14, do you run a lazer ladder or is that a glow ladder on the front? Saw a pic of it with a big king on the oak site. Thanks
  2. Hey Billy, I had that happen to me 2 years ago on my PY, that little in-line fuse down by the engine on I think an orange wire. I was running in and all my stuff went dead, except the motor. Was pretty strange, but a simple fix.
  3. Fished North East of the Red Can in 200 - 250 FOW and had 54 degree water down 45 feet. SpinDoctors/Flys in Chrome Green/TG took Kings on the wire divers and probe rigger at 55 feet. Had a real screemer on the wire and then bang, wire broke, must have been a kink in there somewhere. Bye bye diver/spinny/fly An old Northport Nailer took a nice steelie off the rigger at 65 feet. North wind created some pretty neat waves to work with.
  4. Sounds good, looks like Team Fishstyx will be Team Diversion this year, just gotta get all the ducks in a row.
  5. Richard, they are all yours, they just don't work for me. I think we are doing the FHC, so I'll get them to you then.
  6. I got 2 ya can have, the original Fishlanders that you are looking for, seeing how I cannot get them to fire. That is if you are interested in them
  7. When my boat had problems last summer, my mechanic told me that a coupler fails for one of two reasons, either excessive run time so its just worn out, or somthing is out of alignment. The alignment thing was what got me, resulting in the coupler failure. When you pull your motor, have the motor mounts, engine beds and stringers looked at carefully before you make any decisions, as the underlying factors that made your coupler fail need to be fixed as well, or your next coupler will fail again.
  8. http://www.michiganangler.com/Trolling_Bags.htm Been using the same pair for the past 3 seasons, have held up very well, still look like new.
  9. Here is the pic of the big steelie Tim mentioned This is another that was released
  10. Sweet pics, its amazing how much nicer the weather and water was for you, just one day later.
  11. I've got my ticket, but forgot to have the Dr. and boys get one. Oh well, live and learn. Not sure about the remainder of the weekend, we'll see.
  12. Took my Dad, a Doctor and his two boys that works with my Mom out of Olcott today. Fished from the Red Barn to the Microwave Tower in 100 - 200 FOW in the rough and rain this morning. Took a few small kings on green protrolls/green attomiks and a big guy at 24.8 on a chrome spin doctor with a TG fly. Lots of warm water in there, but the marks were biting.
  13. This EXACT same post is on The Hull Truth, word for word. Sniff, sniff, I smell spam............
  14. I'm game for launching at Olcott in a few weeks from now.
  15. Me and my friends have fished the opening day of bass for probably the past ten years, and each year gets slower. You really had to work for the couple fish we got  As for salmon, i will be fishing the weekend of the 4th for sure, not sure about it any sooner. I'm definatly up for a Penn Yan vs. Bayliner event Maybe we could even get a Thompson to compete
  16. Fished opening day of Bass season for a change of pace. Caught a ton of gobys on leaches. The only smallies with any size taken were caught flatlining hot-n-tots in 10 - 14 fow outside the fort. Tons of moss everywhere. Nice for change of pace, plus my buddy snapped this pic of my ride......ok, back to salmon next weekend
  17. Nice to finally meet you SWII. I thought I was the only one out there Monday morning. We fished for a few hours before being chased off by a thunderstorm with lots of lightning. That was freaky running back in from the red can with all the lightning and rain.
  18. Fished N of the red can today, went somthing like 15 for 19 with the biggest being 18lbs. Lots of action all day long. All baits took hits from watermelons to mulattos to spin doctors. Riggers, wire, core. Lots of good green water all the way out to 250 FOW. All fish were very healthy looking.
