    About 15 years ago I kept a boat at Meyer’s for the season and would go out to Webster park - Hedges and troll a couple hot n tots 15-30ish ft. I used to always get bass and on occasion, an occasional brown . I also remember the days of drifting between IBay to past hedges with 30-60 fish days with a buddy.

    Yesterday off Sandy as I was going east for a solid 45 min a Lund comes south from the deeper water in front of me and decides he is going to go west as close as he can get to me on my starboard. I gave him the WTF look as I’m trying to net a fish and he turns south. I truly believe Covid has brought a bunch of new people in and they don’t have a clue. I’ve never seen it so bad the last few years…

    For 90% of the guys that do it part time like me, it’s a losing proposition. Don’t expect it to be an actual part time job that can help pay the household bills. What you make will be going back to the boat. Parts are expensive and you’re a blown Motor from being in in debt. This sounds harsh, but it’s facts. I could go on, but I won’t….
