Canadian laws are strict. Porta potties are illegal and as previously mentioned flare pistols are considered weapons and are illegal. Check with customs about what to do entering Canadian waters. You can get an ontario license on Hill island , just over the bridge from Wellesley Island. A felony is a felony. He gave up his rights if he committed the crimes he is accused of

Innocent until proven guilty. That’s the way it works. But if the allegations prove true and he is guilty. A slap on the wrist is unacceptable. These are felonies.
