I go to the pier at Watkins Glen almost every day and it has been pretty dead. The perch fishing is done at the pier.

Rainbow stocking in Catherine Creek The DEC with help from Trout Unlimited along with me from the Finger Lakes Trollers stocked 10,000 Rainbows from the Bath hatchery yesterday.Put them in 4 places in the lower section of the creek. They were fin-clipped.They were 4 to 6 inches long. This was the 6th. year of stocking. The program is working. The spring shocking shows about 25% of the shocked fish fin-clipped.This spring there were several fish 7 to 9 pounds clipped.Kudos to the DEC for this program.

A couple of my buddies that are bottom fishers are catching real nice lakers,5 to 10 pounds from deans cove north and gobies are all that is in their stomachs. some big ones 5 to 7 inches.

there will be some electronics at the watkins show that a friend of mine is bringing. He will be selling the raffle tickets-name is Bryan or see me across from the food with all the lead. Harvey

WIEGHTS AT THE FLTA TACKLE SHOW AND SALE I will be set up across from the food concession with downrigger weights and Seth Green trolling sinkers. Torpedos 12 and 16 pounds,balls 16 to 6 pounds,herbies(fish) 10 and 14 pounds. Sinkers 40 oz. to 20 oz. Rich from Custom Downrigger Weights will be there with his Shark weights-10 to16 pounds.Great weights at great prices!

The launch at the Village Marina is open. 5 rigs there yesterday. Clute park launch-canal is froze in.

The Finger Lakes Trollers annual show is held at the Clute Park community center in Watkins Glen.
