  1. See also laker slime removal.
  2. Starting point from March is on the bottom out deep with the wintering alewives. As water warms, bait and then kings follow. Find warmest water around.
  3. Money allocation is slow from government to businesses. I work for a health center and my CEO informed me she received a call from feds asking if we suffered any loses from Hurricane Sandy so we can be reimbursed........
  4. Sure but make sure you insert the right end ( if I only had a dime....), and don’t over-insert as the paddle wheel may add to comfort level.
  5. Fish hawk has not come up with a client temp monitor yet.
  6. Lots of factors affect hook up/ land ratio. Speed trolling, color of water, action on lure, East wind more nipping at lure, in-line boards vs using planer board system off tether line, are you over fish that were trolled over and caught already etc etc
  7. My guess is the guy on the left owns a dog and does not live there. The guy in the middle also does not live there because they don't have their shoes on. Guy on the right with shoes owns the house.

  11. I saw the emperor's press conferences. He is all for people getting outside in uncrowded venues.
  12. With the state of the economy in shambles, fishing tackle vendors and tackle shops are going to be particularly vulnerable to bankruptcy due to razor thin profit margins in the tackle industry. We need these businesses as they tend to cater to our equipment needs specific to the body of water we fish. Tackle shows are being canceled. I would ask all tournament committees to consider allowing tackle stores and local vendors to have a presence at weigh-in locations for tournaments to sell their wares. Not only will this help support our local businesses but it will bring people to weigh-ins to help promotion of an event. Many teams realizing they are going to finish out of the money in an event, often bypass the scales and leave early. Give these teams some incentive to stick around and shop. Thank you for your consideration.
  13. ...........and where have we seen this before???
  14. If given a choice of days on a weekend to fish, I pick the day that is not an East wind. Over the years I have a couple spots on the lake I go to during an East wind. The fish move due to changes in water temperature and oxygen levels when stuff comes rolling up from the bottom when the lake currents reverse with an East wind. Some go to bottom, some go offshore, some go high. I have found in spring I fish high with an East wind.
  15. LOU filled with great people. Knot worthy on this site offered to bring my daughter to the border if needed. Luckily my wife works with a Canadian nurse that is married to the head of Canadian Immigration. Much better than plan B which involved my boat .......
  16. Kid is home. All good.
  17. I can’t get her. Border closed to Americans. She may have to get a ride to border then walk across bridge.
  18. I will be trying to get my daughter home from college in Canada. Anybody own a plane?

  21. Try the 3M silicon carbide paint and rust stripper disk over wire brush. You may find it works better and save you money over the length of the project
