  1. I’ve been running Magnum Metalz for 2 seasons now after using both cannons and big Jon’s. There’s no plastic on the magnums to break. No electronic boards to go bad and the clutch is so smooth. They’re quiet and have a small foot print so they don’t hog up the boat. I’m happy. The price was right and they have worked flawless. I bought the 140 fpm motors but he has 200 fpm also. They pull my 15lb weights like nothing. Check them out. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. I went out with my driftboat this past Monday. I didn’t have any riggers and I. Caught 6 nice browns and lost another. I ran 2 leadcore a of the the back corners. I ran 2 offshore mini planets on the sides and a flatline down the chute. I had evil eye spoons on the leadcores back one color. The chute rod was back 130 ft and the planet rods were back 60 ft and then let out to the side. Simple stuff. Find the green water and you’ll catch fish. If it’s clear it will be tougher. 3. Depends on water depth and what you’re running. In the spring I’ve had spoons stacked 5 ft apart in shallow for Browns. In the summer I stack them further apart in deeper water. If I’m running a plug above a flasher in the summer usually 20 ft apart so I know they don’t tangle. Spoons above a flasher, 10 ft. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  5. I've been running them with no problems. That said, I'm not really a fan of the new rods. They're a bit more bulky than the older models. Other than that they get the job done. Total Chaos

  8. I have 5 Dipsy Divers for sale. $25 shipped to your door. Paypal preferred.
  9. Yes the copper is still on it but I had taken a bad spot out of that 600ft section. I don’t even know how much is left. Also it may have splices in it. I’m taking it off before I ship. And yes the backing stays on it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. I have 2 Okuma Catalina 55W, conventional reels that I used for a 500 and 600 copper. One has 300 yards of 50lb Power Pro backing. These do not have level winds. However nobody ever had issues reeling in fish with them. Asking $50 each plus $10 shipping for the pair. All in good working condition. PayPal preferred.

  15. 400 and 500 for me. With a 500 you can run any length you want.
  16. I use a 30-06 and it works well. I bought it with the notion I could use it for any North American big game. If I was just buying a deer rifle the 270, 280 or a 7mm-08. JMO Total Chaos
  17. I've owned 2 Trophy's in my time and currently have a Baha 252 GLE. All had outboards as I prefer them. My Baha has what I feel is probably the best motor for the money and I wouldn't trade them for the world. That said, I have twin Suzuki 140's on my Baha. They start instantly, run super quiet, sip gas and are easy to self maintain. They don't have all the bells and whistles my Merc Verado had but anytime there was an issue with that it was back to the dealer who usually couldn't fix it and then they would have to link in to Mercury and they would identify the problem. My Suzuki's are from 2008 and I've never had to take it back to the dealer once. When I researched the Suzuki's I was told they're 600hr motors. That's impressive if they last that long. I'll be dead and buried before those motors quit. I've been on Lake Ontario for 28 years and the last 2 years I'm seeing more and more Suzuki outboards. Prior to that I never saw any. I went to Maine on vacation last year and I'd say 1/3 of the boats were running Suzuki. As I said before, I wouldn't trade them for anything. I'm very happy with them. Total Chaos
