  1. I would look up the number and call Wrights. Trailer parking might still be a pain on Sunday. I'm sure you could launch but you might have to park a few blocks away.
  2. In all honesty, I doubt it will read if you hook the probe to any junk rod or dipsy. If it had a cone angle to read a 100' or more behind the boat, you would get interference from other boats you fish near. Perhaps they meant the Fish Hawk TD?
  3. If it's the ff transducer, check it by turning off the ff and see if it changes your reading on the x4. You won't find me putting my probe on anything other than my rigger cable, definitely not a fishing rod.
  4. That is exactly what I found out on mine on Monday! It takes some getting used too for sure.
  5. X3 I'm very happy with John's work too.
  6. I doubt he would have the report yet. There's the field work aspect then an office work part too before the report is completed. And the results are property of the person who bought the survey, not necessarily the boat owner.
  7. What are the rules for big fish friday? Are there specific times to start or end fishing and what time is weigh-in?
  8. Johnson Aquajet 5.2GPM 70PSI. I won't install anything less.
  9. I can't say anything bad about Traxstech myself. They have warranteed anything I needed and shipped everything I've ordered even as recent as 2 weeks ago. They've warranteed planer reel spools and a couple rod holders that were produced "pre-press fit" when the tubes were adhered in place. I always end up talking to Melody.
  10. Just an FYI, Fat Nancy's does not have any entry forms. They told me they would accept the entry form I print at home and dropped off there.
  11. Snagging bottom is what the clutch knob is for... Keep it tight enough to hold the weight but not overtight to break stuff if you hook bottom and it can't pull out cable.

  13. A 15# atomik and x4 is no problem on any of my HS or STX riggers. I'm sure 1# more won't be a problem.
  14. Those have the old style cords so they aren't High Speeds.
  15. You're right Rick, my Platinum doesn't have 1' contours but it's probably 4 or 5 years old now. Maybe they've changed it.
  16. In one of the menus, you might need to select which card slot to read from. I know this makes a difference in my 958c (non-HD).
  17. Doesn't Cannon also recommend using a 30A fuse as close to your power source as possible in addition to the built in breaker?
  18. BTW, we would all like to see pics of that steelie of a lifetime!
  19. Spike, That was you at the cleaning station?
  20. Check out Tie Down Engineering. I was looking at their kits for my previous trailer.
