    Newbie question, when measuring leader length for flasher fly combos are you referring to length from swivel to fly head? Or swivel to hook? Just looking for some clarification. Thanks.

    It's only Tuesday so keep checking. Hope it cooperates for you fishing has been good, not sure how much this cold front will effect things.

    How are you letting them out? Free spooling? If you let them out to quick they can flutter on the way down. Just loosen the drag and let them creep out. Check that the weight didn't slide out of place either. As for leader length typically the length of your rod for netting fish. I fish solo a lot so only run mine about 6 feet and still catch plenty of fish.

    Did a brown, bow, laker inside 120. Moved out deeper. One steelhead two small kings.

    27/29line has been good for steelhead top 50 fow.

    My clamp on riggers only have a 10 pound weight capacity. I have round weights now, would torpedo or fish shaped weights help at all with blowback? Anybody even make one that size?

    425-500 was best on a north troll. I had a few good rips on dipsys that didn't stick. Ran a ff all day on a Dipsy that never got touched. Purple and blue. Other good colors lately didn't produce. I think temps are still all over the place but I can't confirm with no probe. Just fished the bait. 145 mono dipsy on 3 and 60 rigger were good.

    Ended up 6/11. Two nice steelhead two 6 pound kings and two skippers. Current seemed a little different today. Still can't seem to get a decent king.
