Something to consider is Alewife spawning.
Alewife's spawn at about 50 deg. If you find the temp you may find browns, on the bottom.
It has worked for me in the past.
Just in case this hasn't been posted. I hope it won't be deleted.

Successfully represented clients in the past on Second Amendment issues in NYS Supreme Court. This case is pro-bono for all the gun owners of New York.
According to Mr. Tresmond the new ban is illegal as it is an ex-facto law taking away previously owned property and he intends to file this action in Federal Court.

This is an E-mail from our friend Tim Bromund on Dredging the harbors.
Can you please get this message out to our members and encourage them to take the suggested action so that we don't get to a point next Summer where we can't get our boats to the Lake. Thanks.

A person may not fish for a species (not even catch and release) during the closed season for that species on a given water.
But people do it all the time. They say they are fishing for Brown trout or Walleye on the bar.
Having a license to drive a boat does not make you a safe boater.
Every car accident has a licensed driver.
As Tim and others have said it's a NYS money grab.
More intrusion in our lives.
As a matter of fact I think the water- ways are safer than the roads.
And the roads have speed limits and stop signs and signals and
driving lanes.
It's more dangerous to drive to the water.... than being on the water.
And everyone driving a car is a licensed driver.
OHHHH, ANOTHER THOUGHT!....wonder if you could take the water/ alcohol mix that came off the bottom of the gas can and put it in a copper still and render it down to good whiskey with a little flavoring of peach or other fruit. Then there would be no waste. Buy your still here http://www.coppermoonshinestills.com/
ut oh what happened to my little brain cell?
Good idea, whiskey!
We had a charter in Key West a few years ago.
Caught lots of fish. We kept one yellow tail snapper.
We took it to a restaurant and they cooked for free.
I did tip them well.
