  1. If you get a ticket for an "obstructed plate" the cop is having a boring day. Buffalo Woman Ticketed For Car Air Freshener. http://www.wgrz.com/news/local/story.as ... yid=109687 I have a lot of respect for police officers, but If and when this happens the cop needs to get a different job.

  3. I've been thinking the same thing. I have two Kachman reels set up. I just haven't done it. ***If that is what you mean by hand-lining.*** http://www.rivieratrolling.com/hand_line_reels.html
  4. That is too bad. I launch there a few times a year. But I'm surprised that the marina doesn't have security cameras. And why no one has a boat alarm. Something as simple as a motion (12/ 120 volt) detector. http://www.boat-alarm.com/ http://www.rpc.com.au/products/switches ... r_faq.html PS. "banjo guy from deliverance " was that me?
  5. Ouch. But I have seen this a few other times in the Buffalo harbor. You have to watch where you're going.
  6. http://marinas.com/view/inlet/620_Eight ... _Olcott_NY I use both Wilson and Olcott. (Also Fort Niagara) Olcott has floating docks, so lake level is not a problem, unlike Wilson. Olcott has weeds in the dock area. That can be a pain. But Wilson is closer to the Niagara Bar. Olcott has a better launch and closer parking.
  7. I did not know you had to take a PWC coarse. Is that for everyone? How about a snowmobile coarse? Moped coarse? NY state wants you to take a coarse for everything. Except paying taxes.
  8. The ball and the boat are moving at the same GPS or ground speed. What is moving different is the speed of the water. Father knows best.
  9. I haven't fished a tournament in over 15 years. But when and why do they require an observer? Are there that many cheaters?
  10. Also when releasing a laker push it straight down. Than watch to make sure it has stayed down. If I see that a laker is floating I will throw a floating marker buoy by it. That way I can t turn around and find it. Many times all it takes is a push with the net to get the laker to dive.

  17. Southtown Walleye has some good info in windmill. Check the link: http://www.southtownswalleye.org/windmills.html Also on my blog: http://wnyoutdoors.blogspot.com/
  18. Good idea anyways. Remember if you're marking a rock pile out in the lake, on the map, it may be hard to find once on the lake. You may have to drive the boat slowly looking for it.
  19. I got this in the mail today: Dear fellow Patriot, Gun-grabbers around the globe believe they have it made. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently announced the Obama Administration will be working hand-in-glove with the UN to pass a new “Small Arms Treaty.†Rand Paul United States Senator P.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced the Obama Administration will be working hand in glove with the United Nations to pass a new GLOBAL, “Small Arms Treaty.†Disguised as an “International Arms Control Treaty†to fight against “terrorism,†“insurgency†and “international crime syndicates,†the UN’s Small Arms Treaty is in fact a massive, GLOBAL gun control scheme.
  20. Eric L. Adams is a Democratic State Senator in the New York Senate. Did I say DEMOCRATIC? Just like Democrat Michael G. DenDekker bike license.
