  7. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Outtaline ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 5/15 Time on Water: 6:30-2:00 Weather/Temp: foggy and warm 60's Wind Speed/Direction: NADA Waves: FLAT CALM til ~11:30ish, then a ripple out of NW Surface Temp: 50-52 Location: Straight out of IBay LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 10 Total Boated: 5 Species Breakdown: 3 lakers, 2 kings Hot Lure: Silver/Green Glow NK with a splash of red Trolling Speed: 2.0-3.0 (mostly 2.5-3.0) Down Speed: Boat Depth: 110-170 Lure Depth: 30-100 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Started early in 60 fow of water and headed north. Didnt want to run over fish inside. Totally flat calm out....had first hit around 70fow on the rigger set at 30 foot and dumped it...made one pass back in and nothing, so we headed out to deeper water. Dumped a small ~5lb steelie on a 6 color leadcore, 10 feet from being netted. Fish was not happy to see the boat and spit the hook. Took a nicer 10 lb king on a small dipsy set 200 foot back, with a silver/green glow NK. Then dumped another small king or steelie on the deep rigger. Slider bite, which was a SS NBK. Fish got within site of the boat 50feet or so. Then nothing for a couple of hours. But it was too nice of a day to "give up" About noon, just after the wind finally kicked up, we got into lakers..... First a 8lber on the dipsy, set back 240 feet on a 2.5 setting. Mountain Dew spin doctor and blue hammer fly. Then the leadcore line had 4 hits.....2 lakers 6 and 7 lbs and dumped what felt like two more lakers. Had a couple of other hits and then pulled in a 'skippy' on the deep rigger and called it a day. Still was a beautiful day to not be at work!!!! Hoping Friday or weekend to get more time on the water! Jason
  8. 5/24/12 ALL SET! I have just aquired a used 9.9hp Mariner to use as a kicker motor and need a mounting plate to put it on the transom of the boat and also need an EZ steer to connect it to the main outboard motor drive. Wanted to post before buying something on line! Jason cell 585-820-7338 Tx

  12. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Outtaline ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 4/14/12 Time on Water: 4.5 hrs Weather/Temp: 50's Wind Speed/Direction: south/southeast Waves: less than 1 Surface Temp: 46 Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 9 Total Boated: 6 Species Breakdown: Browns Hot Lure: natural colors Trolling Speed: 2.0-2.2 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 12-18fow Lure Depth: 5-9 on riggers, flat lines ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Beautiful day out on the water, waves and wind early were non existant. water was slightly stained, but not too much. Browns were hitting blue and silver stinger, NBK and a purple/silver thunderstick. One hit did come on an orange/chartruese thunderstick.....but more natural colors did the trick. All the browns were cookie cutter 2-4 lbs.....may have lost one 5-7 lbr. flatlines were 150 foot back....ran about 50-60 foot back off the riggers. Hits came in bunches....btw 7-8:30 and then again around 10am. All in all a great day to be out!!!!!
  13. Mark, I think what Hans meant to say was ....."Sure, I'd love to buy another bigger boat from you again!!!!" Jason

  16. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 3-17-2012 Time on Water: 4.5hrs Weather/Temp: 45's upto 60's Wind Speed/Direction: NE, swinging around to E and then SE Waves: 1foot Surface Temp: 41-43 Location: btw Bear Creek and Ginna LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 12 Total Boated: 9 Species Breakdown: all browns 2-4 lbs Hot Lure: orange cleo (til snagged on bottom), firetiger evil eye Trolling Speed: 1.8-2.0 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 9-17 fow Lure Depth: planers and 4-5 foot on riggers ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Beautiful day for the kids and I to get out and really set out a nice spread. Ran 3 flat lines on planers each side and 2 lines on the riggers 50 foot back, 3-5 foot down. It started out good 4 hits and 3 browns landed in the first 30-45 minutes heading west towards Ginna. Water was much clearer than I expected, given the north east wind. Was hoping some stained water was in there....but nada. Could easily see bottom at 15 foot. Had one fish on a orange thunderstick....but the other hits were all on the 3/4oz orange and silver cleo. Then we went a little too shallow and bottom put up a good fight for 4-5 seconds and then won! Memo to self, get more orange cleos! We fought fog and the small breeze all morning and could not find fish. Trolled from 9-11am with only a couple hits, but nothing landed. Then at 11:30 not long after the fog really lifted and the wind shifted more to the SE, the bite turned on. And it was even in a little deeper water for a couple of minutes. Running 13-17 fow. I thru a Monkey Puke stinger on one of the balls and took about 5 minutes and had another fish. Ran back and forth closer to Bear Creek, then Ginna and landed another 6 fish from 11:30ish to 12:30ish. Firetiger evil eye took a couple, firetiger rapala, a black/silver rapala, monkey puke and a yellow/orange chart thunderstick. At this point they did not appear to be picky! Had to pull lines so we could go enjoy a nice corned beef and cabbage lunch, or I would have continued running that area back and forth. Oh well.... HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY everyone. Tight lines!!!!!! Jason
  17. Will be out there again in the morning tomorrow. My version of St. Patty's Day is using a Green Fire Tiger Rapala!!!!! See everyone on the Lake, if it aint too FOGGY! So watch out... HAHAHAHA
  18. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 3-12 Time on Water: 4+ hrs Weather/Temp: sunny high 40s low 50s Wind Speed/Direction: 10+ knots out of the W/SW Waves: 2 foot Surface Temp: 40-42 Location: West of Bear Creek to Ginna Power plant LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 10 Total Boated: 8 Species Breakdown: all browns Hot Lure: Yellow and Orange Chartruese Thunderstick Trolling Speed: 1.9-2.1 GPS Down Speed: Boat Depth: 10-12 fow Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Headed out just after 8:30 and trolled to early afternoon. Hot spot was 10-12 fow at the small bluff just a qtr mile east of the Ginna Plant. Water was all stained color and generally was warmer as you got closer to the power station (like duh). 8 out of the 10 hits (7 boated) were in front of that bluff....two hits were down closer to bear creek itself. The hot lure was undoubtedly the Yellow and Orange stickbait (pic included) and 9 hits came on that same lure....I had two of these and ran one 60 foot back off the rigger, 5 feet down and ran the other on a flat line 150+ feet back. Both produced fish. The one lone other hit was on a similar yellow stick bait with some orange in it. I ran a fire tiger and a solid orange thunderstick for 2 + hours at other times over the same water and not a hit!!! Wind really started to kick up after noon, but direction did not matter....fish were hitting trolling east or west....all that mattered was 10-12 fow at that bluff. Trolled out in more 13-17 foot and NOTHING. Really kind of wierd. Talked to another guy that went 20-24 or something like that, trolling cleos over that same area. I saw people boating fish all morning and early afternoon in that area. All in all it was a good day. Pictured below are a 7lb and 10lber...along with a couple 4lbers that are now in the freezer or eaten for dinner tonight!!! All in all.... GOOD DAY!~
