Dang, this is a steal.. If this was Craigslist. I would think a hoax. Some lucky man is going to get a whale of a deal. -
One thing I would do the next time is to mount my GPS/Fishfinder to the left of the drivers area. That way I can have access to it if someone else is driving the boat.. Because when I drive I tend to play with it , and that causes me to venture crooked off course.LOL Plus if someone else wants to play with the graph they won't be reaching across you.

I spend a lot of time on my boats.. But I still get queasy. I always have ginger cookies, and ginger ale.. I eat Dramamine before we head out. I have the wrist bands too. But they leave funky tan lines that are hard to explain. My wife says it is all in my head. The last trip out two weeks ago,. I did not take anything and the sea was only 3 footers.. I was ok all day.. I might have drank a couple of ginger ales as opposed to mountain dews though. I used the stuff that you dab a dime sized spot behind your ears down in Florida in April.. I blew chow big time.. first time I ever fished 8-10 footers. It was the first time I actually ever chummed..

This story woke my newbie butt up too.. Now I will always make sure my PFDs are on the deck. not down in the cuddy. I ordered a new water proof handheld VHF. And I also ordered a waterproof floating PLB.. I prefer not to be in the water any longer than needed.I plan on picking up waterproof whistles and attach one to each PFD. Floating ditch bag will be located always on the topside of the boat.

After reading Dave Mulls boat sinking story.. I would spend my money on proper safety gear first.. -
Changing bellows is not for the faint of heart.. I just did mine.. I related it to be a lot like putting socks on a fighting rooster.

Hook is set about as good as it is going to get set, just pulling it out of the release. I use15- 17 pound test on my rigger rods.

Deet even at 100% will not work..

Turn up idle to 1200 and see if it will stay running when you put it into gear. Have you done a compression check?

If the bulb is going soft, it could be a leak on the suction side just as easy.

Wow for only 20 bucks... Must be one fancy pull pin.

I have tried the thermocell. They sat on top of it and inhaled it.. then went straight for the munchies.. I tried white vinegar and water.Mixed 75/25 in my pump up sprayer. I tried the listerine and water. Mixed 75/25 in my pump up sprayer. Vinegar worked the best.Boat smelled like a pickle factory.. The listerine made the boat smell clean and fresh. but made the floor slicker than a cat gut,.and did very little for the flies.. My buddy brought along a spray bottle of the cedarcide stuff. it worked fairly well and made the boat smell like a dogs bed or a cedar closet.. Seems the cheapest is to just keep spraying the boat down with the washdown pump and keep everything wet.

I just purchased towing Insurance this past week.. I fish the Gulf and the great lakes. so it was 163, including roadside trailering.
