  1. Pretty cool, nice buck also, I don't think that deer skipped a beat as soon as he knew he was on the ground it was back to putting them down and picking them up. He's gone!!!!!
  2. OOH YAAA!! I hear YA there Rick!! Once again congrats to your hunt and trophy. It doesn't have to set records, a trophy is what "you" want it to be!!!

Hey, those are some nice racks what's important is JR. looks happy!! Congrats to your season!! Ours opened yesterday, next 2 days over 1 1/2 inches of rain and no cold temps, no hang time, and the ticks are horrible!! You did well!!
  4. You guys defiantly ended the season on one hell of a good note!!! You guys defiantly know how to raise those monsters!!! If one didn't know better, they would have a hard time believing a persons story. The proof is in the pudding!!! Great job to all that put the effort forward. To all be safe, Happy Holiday's. PAP.
  5. Awesome, I personally like the brown and the I'm thinking trout spoon, not that they all deserve a spot in my tackle box!!! Excellent job PD.
  6. I'm not much into tattoo's but that is really detailed, the artist behind the paint is incredible. How long did it take to do the minnow?
  7. Mabe do some research on the "whats" involved with winterizing a boat instead of asking way to many personal questions that have NOTHING to do with knowing where the drain plugs are on different modles and engines, and how much antifreeze is needed for different size motors, which kind of antifreeze would you use the RV. Type or the automotive type colored green? Take down that ridiculous questioner and make it more to the source, a frozen block doesn't give a rats a$$ as to what's my employment status or what's my gender.
  8. Real nice buck Rick!! As always great story with it, how wides the rack? I count 8 is there any I missed? Congrats on your hunt!
  9. New comer with 1 post with more personal questions then my mortgage company asked!!! We are not a bunch of A-Holes not to mention we might argue about different things. I would be the first to say this is a close net of folks so if your looking to screw someone over you will have a lot shyt come down on you hard!!! My suggestion is hit the trail while you still can. No B.S. Dude!!
  10. Maybe touch base with a smaller trout hatchery and ask if they could point you in the right direction? If need be I have a friend that has a hatchery he raises the trout from eggs that he purchases, we get our trout fingerlings from him and raise them for our gun club property. I could ask Robert for you or maybe you could call him, he's a hard guy to get a hold of as he is a farmer and hunting season starts this Monday. Pm me if you can't get any help I'll try my best to get a hold of Robert for ya. Pap
  11. Very nice indeed!! Those flying fish didn't have a chance hell, they were under the gun from above and below the water. Pretty much a lose-lose situation.
  12. Yup he's done!! For a couple of years till the newness wears off. Honey do you mind if I go fishing with Stan, well I was hopeing you would stay home and we could snuggle on the couch, then it will be why can't you spend as much time with me as you do with your damn fishing buddies!! LOL he will be just fine.
  13. Yup those are the babies, true walleye catching machines!! Thanks for posting. Since mine only dive about 8-10ft I put them off a rigger maybe 75-90ft back keeping in mind they are lower than the ball, I use them for suspended eyes, or in the Black River.. Yea I see the Orange belly on the one in your box, that's to funny what would be the chances that I would run across someone else that runs the same plug let alone the same pattern!! Cool PD.
  14. Thanks Dylan, sorry I didn't get a chance to post back sooner, been busy making jerky for guys. I have 1 more 20# batch going in as soon as it warms up a little still 18*F down here!!
  15. I have a 22ft Sea Ray cuddy and I blew my lower unit in the early part of May, the mechanic over in Henderson told me I should run a 17" prop, and he also saw my stainless steel prop and said we love you guys that run those props they keep us in business. He told me to get a aluminum prop, they break long before damaging the lower unit, way to many rocks this end of town for a steel prop. I was very surprised as I thought the stainless was the way to fly, not according to the man that repairs them, so I bought a aluminum one and kept the steel one for a spare.
  16. Absolutely perfect!!! Can't wait till I get some of those blades in my mitts.
  17. That's awesome Letsfish, I'm sure you had a blast!!! I take it your doing a replica, which I think is awsome, if I ever catch a 30#+ laker I'm getting a replica done. I have a 42" northern and a 12 3/4# 34" walleye. I had the actual fish done and after 25 years they are showing signs of old age which I'm not happy about.. I would think the replicas would hold up much better. Congrats on your trip and catch!! PAP.
  18. Mabe Santa will bring me a few as I've been a good boy!!!
  19. This unit is 2G's plus, plus there's a dropped price from the original $1500 this is a good price for those looking for the top of line units.
  20. Man they are good looking spoons, how about 2 3/4"ers I know I'm only busting ya. !!! Take care PD.
  21. Happy birthday Kevin another year wiser!! With many more healthy ones to come!!ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  22. Dad and I bought these lures over at Fay's when they had a big sporting goods department and to add insult to injury they were in the grab bag box, this lure was ahead of its time with the square bill. Dad and I boubled up many of times on the eyes. We bought 4 now dads gone 8 years and I only have I left, so I parked it on his rod and reel which hangs on the wall along with his veteran flag from Korea. these lures produced more eyes then any other lure in my box
  23. I fish a lot of different places so I bought the premium chip of the north east. This chip is awsome it shows the SLR from start to the ocean all of LakeO and to like Port Clinton on Erie on and on it has 118 lakes on it and I found it to be dang close with the depth charts, even little lakes such as Swartswood in NJ. which is only a few hundred acres, small enough that it's a electric motor lake only. I just did a update which now it's in 1ft contours. But if you only fish a few specific lakes those chips are supposed to be way more detailed. My buddy is a semi pro bass angler and last year he won a 21ft boat with a 200 hp Yamaha on it all decked out with electronics and it came with a 898 bird and he had the different individual chips, I don't see that big of a difference but they were lakes in the NE. Raystown lake, lake Wallenpawpack. My chip covers both those lakes, like I mentioned I didn't see that it was any better. But maybe the lake masters are as good if not better. When I bought this chip, 3 years ago lake master had very little to offer in the lowrance units. I know it's a hair pulling should I shouldn't I decision. Good luck just make sure it has what you want and where you want. Pap
  24. They are all aluminum, and light to tow.
