    Todd I too have the older Cannons and I'm not telling you it will be ok but I run the 12lb torpedoes and knock on wood I haven't had a problem. I wouldn't go heavier though.

    I have one mounted each side forward of where the cabin ends. Easy to reach from the back area and out of the way of my planer reels.

    As a former taxidermist I can tell you something like Harbor Freight is ok and will get the job done but there is no comparison to a Paasche for getting better detail and much smoother operation and it sounds like you have an artist that just might want that. Old saying, you get what you pay for. VanDykes is one of the bigger suppliers of taxidermy supplies and have a good selection.

    These guys are 100% on when they say there is a lot of great info on here that guys share and will speed up the learning process. But I think the best advice is what Big Water shared about the lake. She can turn ugly in no time with little warning and is very unforgiving. Check the weather before heading out, keep a marine radio on and by all means if the USCG puts out an alert or a Captain running radar gives a report, listen to them and get in. Much better to quit unexpectedly and live to fish tomorrow than not at all. Good luck out there

    I also would recommend Troutman87. He's in Watkins Glen and makes 12 and 16 lb torpedoes. I have run 12lbs for a few years and love them.

    I don't know if it makes a difference or not but I've always left mine out just in case water/moisture was in there. As far as the mice if they want to get in there's other places they fit through also.

    Unless you have others not listed and I'm doing my math right it will cost $10 more to by them all together rather than $20 per lot.

    That should say rail slides. Ones with set screws.

    G-Daddy is right. I have pulleys, springs and a heavy rope clip from Lowes. I ordered rail sockets with molded eyes for Bimini top and slid over roof rails then attach rope clip through eye.

    Killian that would be Facebook. You can talk about anything and get great advice, everybody is an expert there and evidently most think they're either lawyers or physiologists.

    I would also install a check valve. Pump should have no problem as you don't have a lot of head pressure to pump against. I had the same problem with my house A/C condensate pump, I didn't realize when I cleaned it I dropped the rubber check valve, once installed again no problems.     My dad had also taught me the nose trick or running the rod along the scalp/hair. To get it apart try grabbing each side of the connected parts like a fist with the fist behind the knees then squat slightly and spread your knees. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
