    Also dont be afraid to just ditch the dodger and run a spoon on the deep rigger you'll still get lakers but thata where my better landlocks have been hanging. Purple is a good color and that way you can put a slide cheater on that too (Your 2 rods will contain 4 lures) and you will be able to tolerate higher speeds better than using a dodger

    That sounds like a solid set up. Maybe bump speed up to 2.2-2.4 and bring high rigger up between 50 and 55ft with a spoon with a slide cheater and use the dodger and a peanut or spin and glow on the deep rigger. Dont be afraid to work in shallow til your deep rigger bounces bottom or out deeper. If you think your in to shallow or to DEEP of water your probably not you will pick up lakers on the deeper rigger and bows and landlocks on the high rigger this way

    Well i have a 9.9 yamaha on my 14ft and can get as slow as 1.3-1.5 with 2 riggers in the water so im sure you could with an 18. If not use a bag or a bucket

    Seems to be the story on alot of cayuga derbys no real tanks but plenty of decent fish. Still my favorite finger lake!

    For rainbows keep speed between 2.5-3.2 and keep bumping it up and down and keep riggers between 40-60 ft down and make east to west trolls may not slam them but you will catch a few. Good combos that work for me are white or blue paddles with a good silver or blue spoon trailing it (distance can vary from 18-36inches) also always do well on silver and or blue spoons ran by themselves. (I dont have temp either but if you keep playing you'll find a few)

    Way to go John we were over there yesterday and did around 30 fish with about an equal number of lakers and just under legal size landlocks as well as one that went 19inches and tasted great. We fished just infront of the creek mouth and just north of boy scout camp. Had a hard time keeping riggers down. Love that lake!

    Love my torpedo almost no blowback was playing with bottom the other day in 80 fow trolling 2.0mph and hit bottom with 82 foot of cable out i was really surprised
