A full career of talent and great music. Every Great Lakes fishermen can relate to Nov 11th 1975 when the Edmond Fitzgerald went down.

He did a concert in Watertown NY last year. I wasn't able to go, but I had no idea he would be gone so soon.

RIP gordon lightfoot,so glad we were able to see him in concert couple years ago in rochester.it was amazing to see him on stage performing at 82 years old!!!!!

As the song says, The church bells range 29 times for each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.    On Tuesday in Detroit those bells were alive and were rung 30 times, 29 for the deceased crew and one for Gordon Lightfoot.  For almost the past 50 years Gordon Lightfoot had a relationship with those families appearing at as many events with them as possible.
