I remember peeking into his boat at the Istmus 20 yrs ago as a very younge and new walleye fisherman and asking him what those yellow things were. He Said off shore planner boards and that I needed to get them.. game changer for us pulling plugs. He was a friend of my grandfathers, we went to his cottage and I never seen so many true trophy walleye mounts and Muskie.. From that moment I knew walleyes were going to be my main target species. Hopefully his knowledge got passsed on and all his hard work and knowledge did not go to waste as we know that is a very tuff fishery to learn, let alone master..agreed a Eastend walleye legend.. RIP
