I believe those are called dredge weights and are the best DR weights I have ever used. I was using 12# pancake weights and last year I forgot to put them in our new to us boat. but the boat had 2 8# dredge weights and we had to use them. they worked awesome for us with much less blowback than the much heavier pancake weights.
