Best releases for otter boats?

I abs love Scotty power grip plus release but they pop off the planer line and are gone to the bottom of the lake I have tried everything to prevent it from happening but keep losing them at 8 dollars a piece I’m done. Any advice on new release they will hold up to 500 copper! Thank you!

I've used these up to 400 copper.  I'm sure they would work fine on a 500, especially if clipped to mono.

Rtrucking40-  Not sure how you’re losing your Scotty releases. Do you have shower curtain hooks or do they have a large snap attached to the planer line?

X2. ??? With standard clips on the releases you should never lose one.

Shower curtain hooks is there a better way?

You can buy the clips in bulk and use a piece of downrigger cable or mono and a snap to make your own at a big savings
