Lake Ontario Salmon School post thoughts 3/8/24

This was the best salmon school I have ever attended going back 20 years. I have been fishing Lake Ontario for 42 years and just when you think you would know a lot......well I took 3 pages of notes at age 63...LOL. The format of 3 guys and a power point display adding their knowledge and experience made it nothing less than fascinating and riveting for 8 hours! Timed breaks / a great lunch buffet / Raffle at the end was fantastic. The venue was perfect and it's wonderful we have a salmon school now for the eastern end! I traveled 300 miles and picked up my Oak fishing buddy Joe in Albany, NY about halfway and he agreed too that this class was epic! We had a nice time shopping at Fat Nancy's and All Season's with our generous class discount afterward. Had a chance to talk to these wonderful guys at break time and after it was over. The crowd of 125 were very polite and some of the nicest guys out there. Thank you Captains:  Casey / Rob / Pete! I would highly recommend buying your ticket for next year as soon as it's posted. Sell out fast!

This was held in Pulaski, NY. No info yet on a 2025 event however details will probably be announced in fall of this year. Keep an eye out for the 2025 Great Lakes Trolling School. Follow me on Facebook for the announcement.
