Sandy 7/1 Jigging

So, first trip of the year out for me. We have a new baby at home, so I haven’t been out like I usually am. Looks like I haven’t missed much this season yet though!

Got out before work this morning and we tried shaking the dust off the jigging rods. Worked from 40 to 200 fow. Very few marks today. I’m not sure we even saw a single king mark this morning. Only fish we got was a coho and missed 2 other hits high in the column (likely coho as well). Once the lake sets up, the kings will be here. We haven’t really had any stable weather to set things up. It will happen…..and when it does, I have seen a lot of big fish being caught this year already. It’s going to be a lot of fun! It was honestly just nice to get out and shake the rust off this morning 💪🏼

Congratulations Manny that child couldn’t be more blessed to be a member of your family. 
I haven’t jigged yet this year. Haven’t had any screens that supported it on my boat and wind hasn’t been good either. Hoping this changes soon. I’ll be out the next few days and will let you know if things start to set up.
