I will be up on Wednesday September 3 out of Olcott for a day trip. I haven’t been up for a few years and seeing if there are any recent reports for Salmon, Browns or Lakers. I figured after today and LOC is done, might get info on a good starting point.

Had to switch days to fish, now heading up Wednesday. Winds will be more favorable. From those I have spoken to 120 to 160 in close has been good with riggers parkerked 60 to 115. Wire dipseys 1 1/2 out 170 t0 200 back. Hot spoons still Carbon 14 Mag and Moonshine Appleseed. I will be launching out of Wilson and Trolling East towards Olcott. My boat is a Thompson 240 Hardtop. White/Blue.  If you see me out their call me on channel 68.Very good fishing out deep starting in 250 and tolling North. Riggers slightly higher but if you find temp a lot of 2 year old Kings out deep along with steelhead. Meat also working. Have a Great day. Fishing should be very good  . Thursday weather not looking good as of now.

If I was fishing this time of year the first place I would look for staging fish would be 80-120’ off microwave tower. If cold water pushes in, look shallower. If East wind comes a calling, look for duck weed aggregations West of port. The pen reared fish will be looking for home water smell - hence looking for duckweed. Active biting fish are hit or miss in bath water so a good first place to start is where cool water intersects with bottom.
