Check out SEI 

you can get a new lower unit with a three year warranty for $1200. I got one for my Yamaha 250 and love it. Complete no brainer.

I heard those SEI lower units are junk that’s why I didn’t look too much into them

I’ve heard, and experienced differently. Ironclad three year unlimited hour warranty isn’t going to come with a used one. Good luck.

I got one for my 150 yammie from sei 4 years ago got around 800 hours on it with no issues

I put one on a 150 merc and if you run it aground in the first 3 years they replace it no questions asked.    I have had zero problems
