Anyone RECOMMEND an Insurance agent or company?

Hello, I have been looking for insurance for my charter business and wondered if anyone had an agent that they would recommend? I'm looking for someone who know what we do, so they could have some clue as to values. Thanks!

When I was guiding, I used Charter Lakes. They had a good plan that fit what I needed. I never had a claim, so I can't tell you how they were to deal with in that respect. They are worth checking out:

I use United Marine Underwriters: http://www.unitedmarine.net/ I've checked with Charter Lakes a couple of times and have found UMU to have lower rates for me at higher coverage amounts. That being said, I've heard nothing but good about Charter Lakes.

I have also heard good things about United Marine. Keep in Mind NY mandates us to have a 1m in Liabilty coverage... There are very few Companys who cover Charter boats. I believe only 3 or 4 in the country....

I've been with UMU 8 years now, all good. Rate are very competitive. Had a claim once and it went as smooth as could be.
