Chippewa Bay area for Muskie Sept.

Going to St. Lawrence late sept. and want to troll for muskie.

I'm using my cannon riggers and salmon rods. Am i wasting my time or should i fish for perch/bass.

Never fished for muskies. Thanks for any info.

Certainly not a complete waste of time but also not a high percentage game. Bass, perch, pike and walleyes are much more readily available as most muskies are caught toward Cape Vincent and usually latter in the fall.

ditto what kevin said. lots of pike in chippewa bay,muskies,not so much
