They will more than likely drop back from the pull of the copper. Otter boats with double keels are the way to go.

Yes the will pull copper for you. Is there better boards for the job?...yes but the cannons will do just fine.

Any recommendations on where to get the 2nd keel for the Otter Boats? Any magic to mounting the second one?

Call Fat Nancy's. I ordered mine over the phone and they shipped them to me. You can also call Big Jon direct and order them. They are not cheap but worth every penny.

the second keel has 1/2 the lead as the original keel...when you mount it, drill a new hole for one of the bolts or the keels will not be parallel.......

The Canon board have more, about 10%, keel in the water than the Big Jon with double keels. Make sure that the second keel has a smaller weight or boat will sink, my bud found out the hard way, on the job training. Either one should pull about the same.
