TR1 with a Tohatsu?

Looking at the specs for the TR1 Gold autopilot, it doesn't list Nissan or Tohatsu. Anyone know if it will work with a Tohatsu?

I believe they are built by or in conjunction with a major brand. maybe the other way around.

Contact the dealer or a dealer and ask the shop guys there.

They make mercury small engines so I would think they would be the same as merc

Been using a TR1 on a Yamaha 9.9 HT for a few years the only thing that changes is the mounting bracket on the servo piston on the lower unit . Everything else is the same from year to year make to make . My two cents and that's not worth much nowdays . Call Garmine they are usually very helpful.

Got a reply from a Garmin dealer. The TR1 will work with Tohatsu, you just need to use the 2005 or newer Mercury kit to install it. It will need slight shaving around the front rod eye bracket to work 100%.
