Fished east of the bay trolled without a bite most of the morning till we found a small patch of colored water that was absolutely stacked. We ended up with 15 bites and boated only 6. Guess its time for new hooks on my spoons. Small alpena diamond spoons on the riggers where the hot ticket for us but we also took a few on firetiger j9 stickbait off the boards

I believe we found that pocket of water later in the day hook alot of fish. Had a couple of 8 pounders. Nice seeing you at the launch

I fished with my brother in his boat. He lives in Geneva so sodus is closer to him. I tried to get him to come up and launch out of the genny but he didnt want to trailer it that far for the first haul of the season
