Downrigger Weight and Sub Troll Probe

Recommended Posts

I use the torpedo 16lbs troutman weights.

I started with Cannon Unitroll HP manuals and cranking up 12's was a biotch, I wouldn't want to know nuthin' about cranking in 16 lbers on manual riggers. :)

It's not bad I use the older uni-troll with the 4' fixed booms and when I fish alone my arms get a little tired.  I run a sliding cheater on them most of the time with a spoon.  On a good day I will be down 80'-90' and alternating sides which makes it nice and I won't get just 1 Popeye arm.  The worst is when you want to get the line just a little tighter then POP goes the release.
