OK......Where do you guys buy this?

I see small pieces of thin rubber/plastic tubing that are used on cut bait rigs between the hook and bait head that keeps the hook back 3-4". It's probably 1/8" OD or something close. I can't find it anywhere.

If you get some Hot Spot Rollerbaiter bait rigs they come equipped with one!

Can use 1/8 inch plastic aquarium tubing despite it not being as thin

Coffee stir stick ,,swizzle stick.   Or a tooth pick in the hole where the line goes to the hook.  I sometimes snell a single hook tournement style which sets the length to the treble right.
