Grandkids 1st pike

Some pics from the SLR in Gananoque. River was high and had to deal with a cold front but kids had a ball. They caught 19 total. Wife picked up a 3lb smallmouth.

That's awesome. Seems like the high water did some good for the fishing. Can't wait to get up there in Middle August. Here are some of the fish that have been caught near where I stay in ClaytonFB_IMG_1498861372512.jpgFB_IMG_1498861355995.jpgFB_IMG_1498861343292.jpgFB_IMG_1498861332013.jpg

I stay at Mil's Cottages. Most of the fish were caught around Bluff island. I can't take credit for the fish. The guy that owns our cabins posted them. I was just stating the fact that the water level has helped the fishing. The last 2 years we were there in June and the fishing was bad.
