First trip on lake O

Recommended Posts

So Magill270 I and another guy took off this weekend to fish lake o out of oswego. Well weather didnt want to play nice. We ended up fishing Owasco Sunday am (few lakers). After 12 we decided to make the drive up. Lake looked pretty gnarly but we headed out. Being new to it we were all a little nervous about the conditions but it didn't take the boat long to show us we didn't have to be. Felt very safe in Magills boat worked awesome. So we put the waves to our back and trolled out in 300 or so water and picked up our first salmon... Chinook. (Sp?) Monday am me and Magill left out of the slip and headed straight to 500 foot lake was in way better condition. We ended up with another Chinook pretty early and then we landed 4 steelies and lost a few other fish and had a few releases too. Was a great trip and cannot wait to get back out there. I didnt take many pics so hopefully magill did lol.

We forgot the cut bait in freezer so d idnt get to try that....next time
