  1. Past hour
  2. Want to confirm they are the single center pin attached to the base. Looks like it on the photo but want to be sure. 3 of 4 are in working order? How long are the booms? Thanks, Greg
  3. Managed a few at the north end this morning. Water temps were running around 52 degrees. Sawbellies were hitting small spoons…
  4. Today
  5. I see they are $49.95 now. I must of got them on sale. Cabellas and actually the eagle claw web site has them for the same price. https://eagleclaw.com/products/ec25-salmonsteelhead.
  6. The nice thing is that she will be around for a few more years; she is going to college around here next year.
  7. Yesterday
  8. any history on them? so far I've got 4 browns and hooked a big king today. lost 100 ft from the boat
  9. I’ve seen those Kokanee rods, pretty pricey but the type of rod I’m looking for. Those Eagle Claws look spot on and the right price for buying a pair for the riggers. Awesome suggestion guys, thanks for posting.
  10. SOUNDS LIKE THE PERFECT FATHER-DAUGHTER DAY TO ME. WE ARE GOING THROUGH THE TRANSITION PERIOD RIGHT NOW FROM SPRING TO SUMMER. THINGS WILL GET BETTER IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS OR SO. SPEND TIME WITH THE YOUNG ANGLERS. TIGHT LINES.
  11. Tough day today this morning. At least I had company this weekend (last week I was solo). I slowly put six lines in (probably all in by 6:30 [hard to get teenage girls up "early enough"]). We did not mark fish and just looked for temp and currents (direction really did not matter out there today (weird). We ended up going four for four. Had to clean lined from the seaweed floating around until we got out past 270' (we started in 95'). We looked around in the 150 to 200 range, changes lures, made a few turns here and there and decided to go more NE than NW. I got a 7.5 pound salmon on a white crush glow flasher pulling a green glow fly(?). Fifteen minutes later, my daughter reeled in a nice 15.5 pound salmon on the same setup. We had the dipsy on a 3 setting (with braid) and out 255 both times, her fish took her out to 340. About 30 minutes later, the rigger started bouncing and finally released as I was sending out the five core. We got about a 3.5 pound salmon on a all white glow Moonshine Mag (release him in the water). After 6 hours of washing lures and trying to find fish, we started picking up. I released the inline planer with the 5 core (pulling a green glow with orange dots Stingray) and it was heavy; who knows how long that (guessing) 6.5-7 pounder was swimming with us. Lively as ever when he got to the boat. We had to bring him in the boat to get the two hooks out but he was full of spunk and we revived him and he took off. We had lines in for 6 and a half hours (that's why I stated it was a "tough" day. The boat ran well, the fog was thick, I spent time with my daughter, and fish were caught. Fishing (or catching) is definitely better than sitting at home...
  12. Got out for an hour today, had one decent fish on for a minute. Temperature 57,lots of bait and numerous marks. If the weather holds it could be really good derby.
  13. I bought the 8' blue kokenee rods. I'm sure I spelled that wrong, lol. They are very light bot help keep landlocked s pinned at the net. You should see what an 8lb laker does to them!! I found them on Amazon, only place I could find them.
  14. Can you load the rods tight using rubber bands in blacks?
  15. On one of my Digi-Troll IVs, the adjustable PIC went out. I'm looking for Part No. 050215. Thanks!
  16. I bought a pair of these at Kittery couple years ago. They were under $30 each. They are nice and great for trolling small spoons on the riggers. If you want to go higher end lamiglass and tica makes nice rigger rods.
  17. I guess the answer to the question I have is , what was the avg size of a returning 3 year old king salmon say the last few years ?
  18. I want the 2 - 6" pedastal Cannon Bases if they are $40.00 for the pair. Please PM me your address so i can get a check out to you.
  19. Ok great. Please PM me your address and i will get a check in the mail to you. Keep the holders until the check clears if you want them send them. Thanks, Tony
  20. What length and action on the Ticas? I’ve looked at their surf rods but never the inshore rods
  21. dry net

    Rock bass

    What did the gar hit?
  22. For a light rigger rod try a Tica. They aren't as versatile as an old ugly stick but fun on landlocks.
  23. Okuma white diamond in medium. i use these as rigger rods for anything from walleye to kings. They have a lot of action. You can damn near bend them in a u-shape to load them up and have enough back bone for kings.
  24. I have a couple older Mag 10s 3 complete and 1 for parts. I’d take just about any offer for the lot. They’re a little pricey to ship so would prefer you just stop and pick them up. Seneca lake near Lodi
