    This weekend I'm planning on heading offshore to use my electronics and find the bait you guys trawl this time of year. How about some data as to what depths I should start looking? If I see some marks on the bait I'll drop down a few rigs.

    Nice catches! Kings this early are like golden Easter eggs in US waters. Southern Canadian waters tend to hold more Salmon in late March/April. Stay off the beach a little. Last Sunday we had a a lot of great marks in that 15-25' range.

    I have a customer who upgraded and he has (1) DT10 in black for sale @ $800. Another buddy of mine upgraded and he has (2) DT5s in black for sale at $600/ea. Let me know if you're interested and I can get you in touch with them. All the downriggers mentioned have 2-3 seasons of use on them.

    Local, but I don't know who he used. I use Vital Signs in Webster to wrap my transom. They did a good job.

    I've got a buddy who choose to wrap his aluminum boat instead of painting it. I don't know the cost, but it looked great. I think it was just a simple dark blue vinyl.

    We use the blood knot to connect leader to our mainline. We only fish a leader when we're presenting spoons. We have dedicated set-ups for flashers and we put them right on the mainline.

    Yes, the phantom works well. I ran it on the boss's boat last Summer. You can always mount it on a pedestal from Sea View to get a little more height. If you call Krenzer Marine tomorrow I can get you some prices. Ask for Rick.

    I have the Great Lakes card, but for Late Erie. I've never tried it on Ontario. Yes, Oneida is unbelievable detailed. So are many of the Finger Lakes.

    OK guys, The Lakemaster NorthEast card has all of Lake Ontario and its bays on it. Irondequoit Bay has great detail, but Sodus doesn't. I've used this card up as far as Chaumont as well as the Canadian side, and it's great. Outside of the Sodus Bay map being disappointing it's a great card. I don't see the need for the Plus card becasue all you get is satellite view.

    Depending on your location BW customs boat repairs in Sodus has done many of these. Give them a call and see what they can do.

    From what I understand it's more of a Bass boat trolling motor as it doesn't come in lengths needed for bigger aluminum boats and walleye boats. That being said if the shaft lengths do work for you shoot me a message and I can get you a price on one.

    I've never seen a 49" Salmon from Lake Ontario. They typically top out at 40-42". Still a nice fish bud.

    I have a HELIX hooked up to my Terrova. It's a great combination. If you don't plan on following a contour or asking your TM to go to a Waypoint then linking them isn't for you. I can get you whatever you need at Krenzer Marine in Sodus. Whatever specific questions you might have I can answer. I've used both Terrova and Ulterra. I can tell you pro and cons with both. I'll also be at the Syracuse boat show this weekend working a marine electronics booth with Krenzer Marine. Just ask for Rick.
