Yes, but that crew decided to ignore the sea conditons.I use an older 18 ft'r that isn't made anymore so I can't recomend you buy one of them. However I've seen some real nice looking Lunds in that size range. If you're going to haul it & fish in so many different conditions, you'll be hard pressed to find anything better than the 18-19 ft "tin can." Chris, NYPA has claimed to have received 5 proposals that they are comptemplating. They are not releasing any details even though they have received "Freedom of Information" requests. They claim releasing anything will jeopardize their negotitations. They orginally promised public release of info during beginning of 2011. (Which obviously has passed) NYPA hired TWS-Truewind to do a feasibility study a couple years ago and this formed a basis for their RFPs (Request for Proposals). No Environmental Impact Studies have been filed with the state as of yet. Their contact with DEC has been generally to find out what topics would require study. Some are spawning grounds, fish habitat and exclusion zones. Tom B. (LongLine)

I use the uni-trolls on my boat. Haven't had any problems. (knock on wood) suggest you don't trailer your boat with the weight attached. (I take mine off & wouldn't trailer any boat with any rigg'r with weight attached.) You might want to also look at swivel bases. I also run blacks right on the cable. Tom B. (LongLine)

That’s true, however when he/she changes his mind and breaks or “rewords†his promises, I don’t get a chance to “re-vote†or change my vote. I also don’t get that opportunity when he appoints that “jerk†running the public authority or “chairman†who actually sets up the rules/codes or decides how much budget his dept could waste on which projects. I don’t get a say on which “feasibility†studies that these depts will spend millions on. Same thing New York State has been doing. I must have amnesia - I don't remember getting a vote on NAFTA nor a voice on setting the pay levels or pension policies.
