  2. Or a bad selection on Matts part! I'm in the same boat. My wife's birthday falls on opening day of gun every couple of years. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Sorry for your loss Pap.
  4. You honestly thing snaggers and poachers will care about the laws? Legal C&R fishing or not, they will rape the fishery......I would love the chance to fush sturgeon In my lifetime.
  5. Hunted with Gatorny and his buddy Fred this morning and shot the biggest buck I have ever shot this morning. Not a monster by any means but a decent buck. I was taking a leak in my bottle and when I looked up, a doe came busting out of the corn. I quick finished up and noticed a big buck coming behind her. Seconds later a second buck appeared. After some chasing and no good opportunities to shoot the bigger buck, I took the other buck. On the initial hit, I hit a little further back than I would have liked. He ran off and ended up bedding down right next Keith in his stand. To make a long story short, the buck ended up going off the property and across a raging creek. He was bedded down in the cattails. We backed out, drove around and got permission from the land owner to retrieve the buck. Thanks again Gator for the opportunity to let me shot a buck on your land. Hopefully you will be rewarded with the 9 point that was with this buck! . Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. You might sell the torpedo diver stuff if you take that horrible looking trolling fly out of the lot!
  7. Beauty. How big Paul?
  8. When I received the call early this morning, I was very excited for Tommy and his family. He is a great guy and one hell of a mechanic. The creek was not the same without him this summer. It will be great to see his smiling face around the marina next summer.

  10. I would at least have it looks at Jack. Although, replacing an impellor early is not always a bad idea. IBay is really bad for muscles. I have my boat on Sandy now and barley have any at the seasons end. I wonder if the creek flow has something to do with it.
  11. The problem is with the muscles in the larva stage They get sucked into the drive and grow in your drive. I had the same issue years ago when I kept my boat on Ibay. Mine died over the winter and the shells killed my 1 year old impellor.
  12. Congrats guys!
  13. Nice job Mike!
  14. Standing room only!
  15. Which one? I got a kick out of both!
  16. They could raise significantly more fall stockers to make up the difference in survival rate. Would they have enough room in the hatchery for the extra fish? Would it save the DEC money in their budget? Who knows.
  17. Follow Alexandra Morton on Facebook. She is an advocate for wild salmon in BC Canada. There is a huge push to rid the West Coast of salmon farms due to the harm they are doing to wild salmon stocks. Pretty interesting stuff. It is sad to see the Canadian Government choose greed over wild salmon.
  18. It is 15" high. There is a big flat rock at the marina I keep my boat at. The water is usually way below that rock by now. It is not hat far below it at all. Also out weir at work is usually way above the water line at this time of the year. It is only 12" above the water on the down stream side. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. The forecasted level is going to be back to the normal levels in December according to the Army Corps website. Lake Erie is going to be high again and Huron and Michigan are going to be higher next year in the spring than this spring.
  20. Approximately 15" higher.
  21. He said just walleye.
