  1. I would have preferred for a seller to become a PRO member for LOU site. This way we can support LOU with additional income and at the same time, support our fellow fishermen whenever they are ready to part their gears or replace their gears with newer gizmos.
  2. Rich: I'm sorry to hear about loss of your dear father. Hope things improve for your brother in law. It is good to see you go out on a picture perfect day. Tight lines, Anthony
  3. Thanks for the great report. You have kept on dialing in to these beasts because you simply did not give up at all! Again, persistence is the key! Best of luck and be safe.
  4. Great photos! Thanks for sharing. I liked the picture of the pike! We don't normally catch them while trolling down here in Rochester.
  5. Thank u for the excellent post. Persistence do pay off for most of the times!
  6. Before the first light, I would check out the mouth of Genny by running the glow in dark J plugs off the boards and riggers. As the sun rise, time to move out deeper and fish your graph by placing the spin docs and a-tom-mik flies off your riggers. Change speeds often if bites are not happening. Let us know how you do tomorrow. Tight lines.
  7. If it was that easy, this would not be called fishing at all. Tough times indeed.
  8. As you may have heard about tough Fishing at this time of the year, it is TRUE! Started out 630 with search on for the inshore bites. 2 riggers with spoons and cheaters. 2 divers and 400' copper pulling spin docs and atommik flies. One big king was only fish we boated in the morning off 120 fow near the white house in Webster. One is better than zero! Fish took BF KOS from rigger 110' down. This guy, a newbie, handled the fish like a pro. I think it was the short eagle claw star fire 6' rod that has made it so easy to haul in the fins. The screen was very active in 50-80 FOW. No takers. Slid put to 150' and found activity in the screen again. So many activities yet all fish were full or had their jaws locked. We did not venture out to off shore due to string SW WINDS. Finished at 11 am. Tight lines!
  9. Guys, please let it go! It doesn't matter how big you are, a physical altercation will cost you somewhere between $5K and $10K in legal fees, fines and potentially jail time. Life is too short to be muddled with these petty issues. We must keep our heads high and keep cool. Lets go fishing and have fun!
  10. I was hoping the meat rig would have yielded some matures. Great set up though. We ll get em before you know it.
  11. Job well done considering Most have reported slow fishing.
  12. Started out 6:30 AM INSTEAD of 6 AM with Barry out in front of I bay 60 FOW. RAN 2 riggers 40' down with KOS spoon and cheater, second with x15' above the bottom, wire divers, 400' copper all pulling spin doc and A-TOM-MIK flies. We ended up 6 for 7. All Brown except for steelie. No kings! Fall colorful browns in the range of 7-10 lbs. One steelhead took copper and managed to launch air show In Front of us with our jaws wide open and made a big splash in the horizon. Nice browns were taken on NK purple spoon off copper and bob Fuller spoon KOS OFF 40 rigger. Hot bites were in 50-85 fw. We searched up deeper to no avail. I have seen other boats busy with nets dipping in the water. Hope everybody is having a great time on the water. Safe fishing.
  13. Malin stainless steel wire is my favorite type of wire.
  14. Thank you for the great post. It has been a great pleasure reading your reports along with the fantastic photos. When you mentioned 13 for 13 sticks, did you mean the stickbaits? I recalled catching the kings on a J-11 floating rapala during September. How did you set them up and how far back? Keep up with the excellent work on the Big O.
  15. Awesome report! Its nice to see the wire divers back in action. It felt as the wires were dead in the past 2 weeks.
  16. Rich, Job well done on the fish! I cannot take any credit because Chris was the one who got me that KIS made by Bob Fuller! Did you actually land that king weighting 32# and change? I was looking to find your name on the LOC board. We struggled yesterday despite fishing so close to Momay. We missed the pod by 50 to 100 FOW while fishing below 380 FOW.. One can imagine the intense burn I'm having right now for wanting to head out to the lake to redeem myself after hearing major catches all around me. Tight lines!
