  6. After losing 5 sets of spin doc and trolling flies to the big fish over the weekend, I need more ATOMIK trolling flies. If you have a bunch of new flies, please send me PM. Thanks.
  7. Captain Bob, Make no mistake about this, you have said it right the first time: this story is priceless! Your story has reminded me to take my friend and his 2 boys out sometimes real soon. We had a trip 2 weeks ago and the water was very rough. I told the father I will not continue fishing in hellish water because I wanted the boys to have a positive experience for their first time fishing. Will post the results. Tight lines!
  8. Not to rain on your parade. What about the derby? This fish would have netted you $7,500!!!!!
  9. Rich. Yes it was us. Who knew when we were both off from work and fishing at the same time! Tight lines!
  10. At least. The bag did not break inside your car. It happened to me when I borrowed mrs car. Not recommended at all.
  11. The purple spoon was absolutely crushed. This high speed car wreck will be put up on the display wall for all to see in amazement. Thank you Chris for the detailed post. I'm glad to be in a great company with 2 of the finest IBAY fishermen. Tight lines!
  12. WTG! The fish were there before the SW wind blew this morning.
  13. Good work out there. You have outdone us once again! We nearly skunked after dragging juvenile king for a while after playing in Russell 240-280 fow. Lost a set of spin doc fly to a screamer off wire diver. Stopped fishing at 930 am. I'm glad the I bays boys did well overall. Thanks for the excellent report.

Fished from 9 mile point to Russel in between 140-350 fow. 2 riggers. 2 dipsey divers. 400 copper. HOT SPOON BITES ALL DAY LONG: Downrigger 75' Bob Fuller spoon. 180-200 active with baits and hooks. Copper very quiet today. Dipsey 300' took steelies with spin doc atomic fly 7 for 8 with 3 steelie and 4 kings. 25# class. No major. Best of luck on the derby,
