    Gents, a battery switch will not stop the subtroll from the slow trickle down on your battery. I have a Perko switch and in the "off"position I still can see the little black dot on the Subtroll display. I unplug the unit after each outing.

    As others have suggested probably Coyote. I would also ask if you have seen any Eagles around lately? I drove down to Ithaca Sunday and saw an Eagle. When rabbits are killed in my yard by hawks, usually only the head is left.

    Naw, they got pushed west from the Oak by East wind Thursday then shoved up against the south shore by a strong north to south current yesterday. When those kings get their bearings...,,,they gone. Get them while you can.

    Thank you for posting. I know walleye guys are not usually forthcoming with info. After my original posting, I noticed a few postings on LEU that mimicked my program with good results. Keep the info flowing!

    You only need a barrel. A clasp can open in a net.

    If I was fishing for a LOC derby steelhead, I would use a flasher and spoon. The hits are always violent!

    Put a good ball bearing swivel two feet in front of your spin doctors on rigger rods. Dipsys have the extra swivel so never a problem on those with line twist.

    I believe alewives can hit 4" by year 2.

    Steelhead have two years of a good crop of immature alewives to feed on. They look very healthy.

    Yes it works. Match the spoon blank with the speed you want to run. I use a 4-5' leader from flasher to spoon.

    I trolled to Canadian border Sunday from Dunkirk.....74 degree water temp top to bottom. NO Thermocline. You will be able to access cold water out of Barcelona most likely.

    Go to Barcelona. Warm water has come in. Trout can't handle 74 degree water.

    You have to test them on same side of boat going into the current at the same direction. Dipsys on opposite sides same distance back may be 10' different in depth based on how the current is hitting the face of the diver

    Remember a key component to depth via dipsy is downspeed. You want to hit deeper zones, troll slower baits like meat rigs.

    Prep your family and friends that they will be needed awhile afterward to watch your other kids. Hospitals do not allow other children into the areas with newborns to prevent spreading of colds.
