  1. Great Job Mike! And great 4 fish box that one bow limit in the tournaments adds another element of difficulty to things. Awesome fish wish I could have been out with you guys. Sean
  2. If your never going to fish below 60 ft just get snap weights. You put two small riggers on you still won't be using light line when fleas start.
  3. Lots of info for you in all the above post. I run one to three dipsys per side mags and number ones. The best info I can give you is get a mag dipsy only two colors on my boat black or green. Put the mag on a 1.5 setting run 1.8 to 2.2 down speed to start on finger lakes. Spin Dr/ fly combo 8 to 12 ft behind diver. If you wanna catch those fish at 100 let out 220 to 240 and you will be right on them. Sean
  4. Nice pic! Wood Chuck was on the menu for everyone at your place:) When we pulled out of the canal a couple days ago to go fishing at south end of Seneca. A big eagle was sitting in the willow at the salt plant. That made for a good start to the morning.
  5. Thanks guys, Fleas are about done weeds that's another story. Every day is different if the south/west wind holds up you should be able to fish out deep on the south end. You still need to avoid the inside of points and out in front of them where crap gets pushed out in lake. Once north wind hits then all the mid lake crap will be blown back south. Couple big logs out on south end so keep a look out. Most of the storm debris ends by Hector falls.
  6. Fished Seneca the last two days with the same family, and like the last three weeks the fishing has been outstanding. Day one we fished north and it was non stop with Lakers and Bows. After seeing Nick's report we hit the south end today and the fishing was just as good but with some real nice salmon in the mix. Core, Copper, Riggers, and wire divers all took fish in 100 to 500 ft of water from 40 to 120ft down.
  7. Nice report! Seneca has been great the last three weeks.
  8. Pull your crap and run north! Boxed out 4 guys this am salmon, Lakers, and bows 50 to 120 ft down out over 120 to 300+ fow.
  9. Stay out of my cooler! great fish and great report
  10. End of August at Sampson just pull out of marina hit 90 to 130+ fow go north or south right from marina fish are everywhere up that way. And you got bass in the shallows their also. Sean
  11. Thanks guys! I figured today would be different Mike glad you got some fish. I walked out on the deck this Am and the East wind was blowing. Yesterday the south wind kicked up and just about 11am the weeds blew back in that area.
  12. Great Job! Thanks for the heads up on the weeds yesterday! Saved me a good hour of starting in the weed zone just South of the hot spot. Can't beet those kings they make the drive worth it.
  13. Had a great day on Seneca yesterday, one of those days when everything took fish. The fleas were so bad that even the hooks were covered. We did more Bows and Lakers than we could count and three salmon. Anything in the water from 40 to 120ft down took fish. It was the best day I've had in a long time. Several Lakers 30 inch plus and big bows that were the same. Frog color spoons and purple/ blue did the trick from 40 to 60ft, flashers and fly's (white) below that. Big thanks to Jason for working with me today. Even with the auto pilot on both of us couldn't keep 12 rods in.
  14. Nice Job great fish! I hate weeds!!! Will be out Saturday maybe tomorrow also. Sean
  15. We pounded them good two days ago in 350 to 450 fow if you get back out. Big kings were out of temp 50 to 70 ft down. T-cline was down 100
  16. Hi Mark, On my boat we run core off one side and copper on the other usually 3 or 4 boards per side. Some days the core smokes the copper some days its the opposite. This time of year and for the remainder of summer I'll have at least one 12 color in and usually two. It smokes the ten color on the finger lakes for bows and lakers, and crushes steelhead up north. I figure I'm getting around 50 ft out of it and a heck of a lot more on the inside turns. Sean
  17. Thanks for the report from what I see this blow is going to last at least another day? Don't think its worth the drive up in the am, Seneca it is. Good luck Nick
  18. Had a couple out on seneca and the big fish Lakers and Bows were on fire. All of those good marks suspended at 50 to 80 ft finaly turned on. Riggers and blood run copper in the 40 to 70ft range copper 200, 250, and 300 all took fish. The fleas were just starting to show up and you need to hunt for weed free areas. Which caused me to find a new laker spot with some big guys. They wanted small spoons and were off the fly bite but we did some great fish.
  19. Probably 40 fish this am not one lamprey. The older year class of fish is down others look great clean no marks. Did some good Lakers one in the 13 to 14 range. All released but one gill hooked laker. Nets in the truck . So doing a lot of hand lining. LOL
  20. Out on Cayuga now I've got rods stacked up with fish waiting to be reeled in! One heck of a bite today. 110 to 140 fow from 10 ft to the bottom, big Lakers, Bows, and Salmon.
  21. Sounds good pick a good weather day will ya without four footers. . LOL
  22. Deep Lasker were all on flasher and flies most on a mtdew e-chip with a green fly 12 ft off the ball and three ft above it. Gives some rotation room when ball is hitting bottom. All the high fish were on spoons. Sean
