  1. Exactly have fun! With wind the way it is tuck in along the west side in 50 to 130 FOW you will find some fish.
  2. You arnt missing anything probably has been the worst spring fishing I have ever seen on Seneca.
  3. I bet you would be OK for bass! They have the catch and release season, if its legal to fish for them why not take a picture of them.
  4. Sweet Fish! With how tough the fishing is this year so far that is one hell of an accomplishment. Sean
  5. Nice report Marty! I noticed your boat hooked up figured you got out. I like that fly you tied up. Sean
  6. Thanks guys should be a trip of a lifetime for her. Sean
  7. Hi guys just found out a week or so ago that my 12 year old daughter drew a bull elk tag in a top trophy unit in New Mexico. For any of you with kids NM has a great youth program unlike NY. Kids with a hunters safety card can apply for special youth only hunts with a rifle in the top trophy areas of the state. The draw odds are much better than for adults. Put her in for Elk, Oryx, and Big Horn Sheep, not thinking she had a chance but she lucked out on the elk. With record rain fall this year so far out west their should be some awesome bulls.
  8. Hi Martin, Good question. If you are flat lining in spring then the big boards are the way to go for that. That is the only time I run big boards!! As soon as I go to copper and core I run in lines. Just this past Saturday on what was the worst fishing day I've had in years on Seneca 3 for 7 we ran 12 inlines. We run core on one side of boat and copper on the other 4 to 6 boards per side. Run shorter core/copper on outside then work way in with longer sections. A church walleye board can handle up to 400 copper or 12 color core. The new tx 22 church boards run great and would be my first pick then a couple walleye boards for your longer sections. When you rig your copper/ core when you attach the power pro backing to your main line put in a section of 30 to 40 pound mono 4ft long between the backing and core or copper. This is where you hook your board cuts down on the backing getting tore up. Good luck Sean
  9. Fishing has sucked on Seneca. No where near the number of Salmon or Browns that we had a few years ago. A few good browns and salmon are being caught but the numbers of fish are awful. Looks like we are in for a couple down years. Not that many years ago we would do 40 off fish in a morning not anymore. I hope it picks up in the future. Nice Laker in the pic and great report. Sean
  10. My dad and Jason doubled up on two salmon!
  11. You got that and some one always has to troll against the pack LOL
  12. One more salmon purple challenger out 100.
  13. South end all sticks and spoons on top 100ft line out and 2.6 GPS". All salmon and a bow so far.
  14. Jason hooked up with number 7
  15. Out now flat lining! Number 5
  16. If the same guy entered 5 Lakers under the same name on the same day that would be a big problem. Not sure I didn't fish it. Cayuga is still a three laker limit.
  17. 10 to 12 pound for rigger weights is all you will need. Wire dipsys would be a must for me. For rigger rod line I would use some sea flea or 30 pound mono necked down to lighter flouro. And like said above a trip with Capt Nick would save you in the long run.
  18. Grumpy cat great! My wife loves that cat LOL. I like the boat pic better Nick
