  1. Dam that could double as an anchor in a pinch!
  2. The fish are their but they are above your sonar hit the top water. Good luck tomorrow
  3. Nice job guys wish I was out.
  4. If you get to Homer go with Bob's Trophy Charters. They have two six pack boats and a head boat. The two six pack boats are both metal boats they are new, large and fast. One is a catamaran with huge fly bridge that will easily do 40+. I've been with these guys a few times and boxed out every time. We always go after July 1st that's when ling cod and rock fish open up. Do the killer combo ling cod, rock fish, and halibut. We ran out like 80 miles and caught rock fish that jumped out of the water to eat a lure, ling cod that were over four ft long, and halibut up to 170 pounds.
  5. It would be nice to see them again some day. I think I only had one fish last year that spit up smelt when it hit the boat floor. I remember cleaning all those little guys as a kid what a pain LOL
  6. I've got a pond full of them on the farm bass love them
  7. Just got back from Colorado with the kids and wife, lots of mule deer and elk still with their head gear also. Then the next bunch you see will have two inches of new growth started, funny how it works.
  8. Looks Great! And you are right great company to deal with.
  9. Glad to here the show went well. I wish I could have made it but wasn't going to happen this weekend. Sorry to here about the stolen reel their is no shortage of folks that will rob you blind. Lost every salmon spoon Jason and I had last year out of his boat at the oak. Like I told jason the folks that take them are the same ones that shake your hand on the dock and ask you how the fishing was. Glad the show was a hit and sounds like they had a great turnout. I know their is a whole army of us that are ready to get out. This will be boat prep week for me. Sean
  10. Last year I drilled the hole in the hull and mounted the airmar in my buddys boat. The same day I mounted the Airmar on my boat transom mount. They both work great but mine on the transom will mark bait at 35mph and his won't. Now that can be something as simple as being off an inch or two on mounting location with the threw hull. Its sure a heck of a lot easier to switch transducers with the transom mount. I will say the hull mounted transducer was very well built and easy to put in. Plus its fun drilling holes in a friends boat.
  11. You will be fine at the launch by the harbour hotel the canal launch could have skim ice but that depends on wind and how much water is coming down the creek.
  12. When you sign the petition the next page that comes up from the same site is several donation amount options to support the Chinook salmon petition. Sounds like a big scam glad I gave them my name and email. I know you had nothing to do with it but someone is going to get some cash that has nothing to due with salmon
  13. Guys fish it when its not iced up all year with no problems. Same regs as lake.
  14. Minimum reproduction? The finger lakes tribs like Catherine creek going into Seneca never was stocked prior to a year ago with Rainbows. If they were not poached off in the creek they wouldn't need to be stocked.
  15. I've had several days when I wish I was back relaxing in a bass boat, when I'm re setting my spread for the 200th time in the weeds trolling. Sounds like a great boat I'll have one in the garage someday.
  16. Thanks for that I will have to take you up on that offer! I have a couple steel targets rated for up to 50 cal that I could set up for you. Sean
  17. Good points! Five years ago I had spots on Cayuga where I would put several fish over 10 pounds in the boat every trip. Now I'm on Seneca most of the time and Cayuga takes Second. Canandaigua blew them both out of the water six years ago now its third on my list.
