Like Stinger I am going to be going to a new autopilot, I have hydraulic steering on the boat and am looing at the AP-14 so I can have a handheld remote. I am willing to drive to a good marina for instal but I dont know of any that do this work in my area. I also would not mind doing the work my self if I can get the unit to arrive with all of the parts. What do you guys think?

John Thanks I got the new boat home Friday now the work starts. I will send some picks as I get it rigged up.

What do you guys recomend for sealing the inside of holes drilled througe fiber glass/wood before you put your bolts througe and seal them with silicone? For example holes througe a hard top or hall. I think the inside of the hole should be protected just in case the silicone fails. Thanks Sean

Do any of you guys know if you can launch at Wilson Boatyard and then keep boat on the trailer at the boatyard, so I dont have to tye up a slip for a 23ft boat? Thanks Sean

The tabels at the show have been sold out, and each year their is a whaiting list. I think the only guns you will see are the ones that some one digs out to sell on the table with all of the old fishing stuff they are selling. You might see the guys from Seneca Marine with a few at the table they set up each year. But for dealers they wouldn't of been able to get a table, they are all sold out. Sean

I am also going to be geting the Traxstech system this winter. Do you guys put any protective material under the track to protect the boat or do you just use silicone? Thanks Sean

Long Line, same thing with my dad last year but they didnt blow the horn . It is amazing how quiet a boat that big can be.

Cyber Fisherman, The only problem I found with aluminum, is if you want a new big aluminum boat 24 to 26ft you have to go to the mid west or the west coast to get a boat like a hewes craft or a north river. Then what do you do if you need to get it worked on. I always wanted a new hewes craft or north river but the distance to a dealer is what made me decide against it. I had an alumacraft trophy 190 it was a great boat and I caught a lot of fish out of it. I am moving up to a little bigger boat this year. Sean

Number 462 for me. I dont keep very many fish but tha ability to go out with a couple friends and run 9 rods would be nice for a change. And on the law enforcement end if a guy wants to keep 100 fish over the limit he is going to do it no mater how many rods he is alowed to run. As long as limits are set and if the majority follows them It should be a great idea. And who knows every once in awile one of the fish pigs gets nailed . Besides what do I have all of these rods for. Sean

Eric, What do you use to make one? I could cut it to fit the shape of the boat if I had a big enough section of material. Sean

Any one put a transducer mounting plate on the back of a deep V fiberglass boat. I want to cut down on holes in the future if I need to replace a transducer. Thanks for your help Sean

Gill-T Im thinking of adding some outriggers this year. When you run the 4 dipseys two off outriggers do you have trouble running core or copper with the increase in seperation on the dipseys? Thanks Sean

Thanks guys I am picking up a new boat in Jan and I want to rig it with less wire. My last boat I ran every thing to the 4 bats I had to may wires. When you make your run do you put the 30 amp or 50 amp fuse in line before the block?

Have any of you guys ran your riggers and electronics to a separate fuse block? Am thinking of runing off battery to seperate fuse box or block for electronics and riggers. Is this a good idea and what is the best gauge of wire for run from battery, and brand of fuse block to use? Thanks Sean
