If your kicker has a "steering tube", you can put on any outboard type system with the pump running an outboard type hydraulic cylinder in the steering tube. Dont need a helm, all steering control from the control unit. A good example would be a Lowrance system with a HDS gps/sonar running their outboard pilot system. You would need to buy the cylinder separately. No helm required. You would not have throttle control with this setup but cold add that other ways. Had this on a T9.9 Yamaha high thrust. Ran shifting and throttle from a standard Yamaha 703 controller., autopilot steering from the HDS unit. If you have Lowrance HDS gen 2 or later unit you have a good start. About 1k for the autopilot, 300 for a cylinder and hardware. Then there is the kicker and bracket $. I have seen your boat at the Mexico launch and I believe you have an OMC "stringer" type I/O. I dont know what is available for autopilot to that unit directly. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Good to hear it worked. I was a bit worried about the "unbalanced" system, meaning more fluid in one direction than the other because of the fact that the seastar system cylinder is not a double rod type, therefore less fluid volume on the rod end. Hopefully the Lowrance system can handle that keeping in mind it is meant for an outboard double rod end cylinder. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Use a heat gun where you need to bend around corners. CAREFULLY! Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

HDS gen 2 or later. That includes HDS gen 3 also, carbon, live, etc. If it isn't a HDS model it wont work. Be careful not to be fooled when the specs say autopilot, they mean for motorguide electric motor interface. Specs must say Outboard pilot. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Had a similar intermittent problem when hooked to the main fuel tank. Tried a check valve and that helped but still happened on occasion. Just to prove a point, I would run the 9.9 off a small outboard type tank for a while. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Is it running on the same gas tank as your main engine? Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Definitely not the wire. LED'S must be wired in the proper polarity to work. An LED is basically a one way flow control valve for electrons. You can think of it as a ball check valve in a hydraulic system. In the case of an LED, electrons will move thru in one direction but if wired backwards they will not flow and therefore, no lighting. Electron flow in one direction and inhibit in the other is the basic property and purpose for a diode. A LED happens to be a Light Emitting Diode. . When looking into flooring for my boat, i noticed the manufacturers have recommendations for adhesives. They have different types for wood and alum. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Stop at the WaWa in Blakeslee or White Haven in the Pocono's and there are few Pa plates, they are all NY and NJ. Big city people have a different attitude. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

That is what I was about to assume, online. Office is probably shut down. Local DMV offices are probably down also. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I have not received the boat and trailer registration renewal applications in the mail yet. Has anyone else experience this? Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
