went out of Geneva ramp made the trip around the park from Geneva to roys marine east to west side and back again used seth green rigs and center down rigger ran the trash can and spin glow on rigger just cant get them to go for me seth green taken all the fish again boated 5 lakers again low numbers but did get a 11.10 lbs laker finish up in front of roys went in to roys to sing up for the derby and headed back to Geneva to load up boat -
you are right on people safety first iam sure the dec didn't want the bear to die

i was on Seneca today saw two other boats from north end not sure if nick was in one of those boats or not . fishing was so so did get into a few lake trout . lake was nice and flat and the ramp was a breeze to get and out of -
what lake and is this derby on the same date as Seneca lake derby ? -
cook them on cedar board cover in wasabi sauce after down throw away the lake trout and eat the board or you can just get can of worms and eat them

I fished today (sunday)from north end steth green rigs ended up with 5 lakers all were nice fish no pin heads low numbers but think it will get better least I hope so

when there is milky oil or water in lower unit you have a bad seal or two when putting a new impeller it come as kit that fits other units go to dealer get seals impeller new cup and there is a upper cup you need to check if you burned out the check valve in the exhaust its whip too ask dealer for shop manual not that bad a job to do

must have been me and buddy his boat is a islander we went 4 for 4 lake trout mark lots of fish but tuff bite

when you say top line I think you talking about the main line . I use 50 lb braid to the first bead chain and same line between beads chains the last bead chain to the coastal snap swivel I use 30 lb mono for a brake away . I just got a spool of bulk wire thinking about changing one rod to it to try it out but did all three rods has new braid last year . I been out on a another guys boat and his rods were lead core for main line mono between beads chains the blow back on the line were way to much for me -
I have two 3.7 mercruisers they are know to have problems head gaskets cam seals stators for charging . If it was me I would run and not look back look for a 4.3 v6 5.0 v8 so on
