    Great day out of Olcott yesterday. Heavy on flasher meat. 300’s and 350 we’re smoking. 100 to 140 feet. 64lb three fish box!

    $400,000 on a thirty year mortgage at 6% is a payment of $2,400. Add $1000 a month for taxes and it’s $40800 a year. That’s if you finance the whole thing. That is the math.

    Like a restaurant charge as much as you want but fill the seats. At $65 a foot that is going to be difficult to do.

    Lines in at 6 and out at 10:30 with Legacy. 100 to 140 foot of water. 250 coppers were on fire as were divers at 125 and 140. Over 20 kings and many mid to high teens. Meat took almost every fish. Amazing morning on the water. Saw the big cruise boat heading back to Oswego from Buffalo which was pretty cool as well.

    Sleepy Hollow Marina, where you dock is a great place and a bargain. If anyone needs a dock for $35 a foot, call Frank at 585-314-3569. Great guy and some of the best fishing on the south shore.

    Same this morning. Rigger with probe down 50. In 140 it was 39 degrees. In 160 it was touching 45. In 170 it was back down to 39. North South troll was the deal.

    I don’t think so. Fish are curious and may mistake the boat commotion for a school of bait. I grew up fishing the ocean. Did it for years till I moved here. Lures would be right in heavy prop wash. I believe the boat scares some fish but attracts others. Just my opinion.

    But it also attracts fish as well. Have had hundreds smash Chinook Divers with 20 to 40 feet of line out. Many times in spring they out catch the riggers and board lines by a significant amount.

    Big bowfin are awesome. Will be targeting them soon when I have free time and the lake is rough. Carp too.

    Went with my son, lines in at 8:30 and out at 10:30. 80-120 down 40 and 50, divers out 120 and 150 all pulling standard size spoons at 2.5 down. 4 for 5 on kings, dropped two and one small Atlantic. Biggest king was 18lbs. went back for an hour and jigged in 80 to 100 and marks were scarce but wife wanted to get some sun. Told me there was no chance I would catch one with one rod just lifting up and down. lol proved her wrong, even if it was a laker.

    I only ice fish Braddocks so not an issue.

    Great job! The giant log in ten feet of water just east of the mouth is going to give someone a bad day.

    I’m going to scoop up a few dozen when I see them and freeze them. Want to try them for ice fishing for pike this winter.
