  1. Is tried targeting coho while fishing kings each time out last year and never got one. With that said, never got a king either hahaha
  2. I have seen a few around but not many. have also seen some pretty nicely done home built ones.
  3. Whoever it was that posted go to the city board meeting had the best comment. Everything else is just ranting. Go, ask questions and get your answers. Always two sides to the story.
  4. So how do they know who is has a boat slip once it is open for the day? Or is it simply the station is always locked
  5. I bought a standard horizon last summer love it
  6. I do kind of the same thing but use a canon double pinch pad release. One pad connects to you rigger cable at whatever depth you want and one to you fishing line. There is a snap in between the two pinch pads that hooks around your rigger cable
  7. Love the hard top
  8. Sweet garage I would love to have that!
  9. No problem, 10 minute cruise. Check your PM by the way
  10. Those all sound good. I would suggest one rod rigged with the biggest live bait you can get. there are allot of bays etc that will hold northerns. what kind of boat do you have? you can pretty much cover the island area down to the SE corner with not much trouble
  11. Do they roll up or fold up or are they meant to hang all of the time
  12. The great sacs data is my home water your idea of fishing around that cluster of islands is s great place to start. You will find many rock piles and underwater old foundations and stone walls. There are also allot of drop offs etc. in the middle of those islands is basically a big flat of shallower water. Another great location is the south east section of the lake. Allot of big northerspns over there. The majority of northerners are caught thru the ice. I routinely catch. 40+ inch females in March. I would concentrate on shallower waters in the early am then work out to deeper water as the sun comes up. What kind of technique are you thinking?
  13. Kudos to you for helping someone who was down and out!
  14. Northerns spawned out early this year
  15. You probably should mention is the system from outboard to outboard or stern drive to outboard and what particular ones
  16. I run both as well. You will notice a trend, most will have both styles and will deploy based upon the situiation and target species
  17. I kinda thought the same
  18. Onthewater247 that is exciting!
  19. I don't know, looks like a brown to me
  20. yeah $3500 that is a hell of a deal even with some minor issues that need looking at.
  21. I have the elite 7 previous to chirp. And really like it
  22. Get some trolling bags easy to deploy and bring back in
